Happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is the man\the woman who finds [skillful & GOD-YHWH] WISDOM,
And the man\the woman who gains understanding & insight [learning from GOD-YHWH'S WORD & Life's experiences],
14 
For WISDOM'S PROFIT is better than the profit of silver,
And her gain is better than fine gold.
15 
She is more precious than rubies;
And nothing you can wish for compares with her [in value].
16 
Long life is in her right hand;
In her left hand are riches & honor.
17 
Her ways are highways of pleasantness & favor,& ALL her paths are peace.
18 
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
& happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is everyone who holds her tightly.
19 
THE LORD by HIS WISDOM has founded The Earth ;
By HIS UNDERSTANDING HE has established The Heavens.
20 
By HIS KNOWLEDGE the deeps were broken up; & the clouds drip with dew.
21 
My son\daughter, let them not escape from your sight,
But keep sound WISDOM & discretion,
22 
And they will be Life  to your soul (your inner self)
And a gracious adornment to your neck (your outer self).
23 
Then you will walk on your way [of Life] securely; And your foot will not stumble.
24 
When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 
Do not be afraid of sudden fear;
Nor of the storm of The Wicked when it comes [since you will be blameless];
26 
For THE LORD will be your confidence, firm & strong,
And will keep your foot from being caught [in a trap].

27 
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due [its rightful recipients], When it is in your power to do it.
28 
Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, & come back, & tomorrow I will give it,” When you have it with you.
29 
Do not devise evil against your neighbor,; Who lives securely beside you.
30 
Do not quarrel with a man without cause, If he has done you no harm.
31 
Do not envy a man\woman of violence & do not choose any of his\her ways.
32 
For the devious are repulsive to THE LORD;
But HIS private counsel is with The Upright [those with spiritual integrity & moral courage].
33 
The curse of The Wicked is on The House Of The Wicked,
But HE BLESSES the home of The Just & Righteous.
34 
Though HE SCOFFS at the scoffers & scorns the scorners,
Yet HE GIVES HIS GRACE [HIS undeserved favor] to The Humble [those who give up self-importance].
35 
The Wise will inherit honor & glory,
But dishonor & shame is conferred on fools.

JAMES 1 AMP Testing Your Faith - Be Proven!

1 [a]James, a bond-servant of GOD-YHWH & of THE LORD EMET YESHUA/TRUE JESUS CHRIST,  to The 12 [Hebrew] tribes [scattered abroad among The Gentiles] in the dispersion: Greetings (Rejoice)! 2 Consider it nothing but JOY, my [b]brothers & sisters, whenever you fall into various Trials. 3 Be assured that The Testing of your Faith [through experience], produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, & inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result & do a thorough work,     so that you may be perfect & completely developed [in your Faith], lacking in nothing.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             5 If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide you through a decision or circumstance].. ask of [our benevolent] GOD-YHWH, who gives to everyone generously & without rebuke or blame, & it will be given..[within HIS WILL]. 6 But one must ask [for HIS WISDOM] IN FAITH, WITHOUT DOUBTING      [GOD-YHWH'S WILLINGNESS TO HELP], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about & tossed by the wind. 7 For such a person ought not to think or expect that he\she will receive anything [at all] from THE LORD GOD-YHWH, 8 being a double-minded man\woman, unstable & restless in all one's ways [in everything one thinks, feels, or decides]. 9 Let the brother\sister in humble circumstances glory in his\her High Position [as A Born-Again; Redeemed Believer, called to the true riches & to be an heir of GOD-YHWH]; 10 the rich man\woman is to glory in being humbled [by trials revealing human frailty, knowing true riches are found in the grace of GOD], for like the flower of the grass he\she will pass away. 11 For the sun rises with a scorching wind & withers the grass; its flower falls off & [c]its beauty fades away; so too will the rich man\woman, in the midst of his\her pursuits, fade away. 12 Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by GOD-YHWH] is the one who is steadfast under trial & perseveres when tempted; for when one has passed the test & been approved, one will receive The [Victor’s] Crown Of Life which THE LORD has promised to those who LOVE HIM. 13 Let no one say when he\she is tempted, “I am being tempted by GOD-YHWH” [for temptation does not originate from GOD-YHWH, but from our own flaws]; for GOD-YHWH cannot be tempted by [what is] Evil [Dark]; HE HIMSELF tempts no one. 14 But each one is tempted when he\she is dragged away, enticed & baited [to commit sin] by his\her own [Worldly, Pagan, Immoral] Desire (Lust, Passion). 15 Then when The Illicit desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; & when sin has run its course, it gives birth to Death. 16 Do not be misled, my beloved brothers  & sisters. 17 EVERY GOOD THING GIVEN & EVERY GIFT IS FROM ABOVE; it comes down from THE FATHER OF LIGHTS [THE DESIGNER-CREATOR & SUSTAINER OF THE HEAVENS\THE UNIVERSE], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow [d]cast by HIS TURNING [for HE IS PERFECT & NEVER CHANGES]. 18 It was of HIS OWN WILL that HE gave us birth [as HIS children], by HIS WORD OF TRUTH, so that we would be a kind of 1st Fruits of HIS Creatures [a prime example of what HE created to be Set Apart to HIMSELF—Sanctified, made Holy for HIS DIVINE PURPOSES].           19 Understand this, my beloved brothers & sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words &], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving];  20 for The [resentful, deep-seated] Anger of Man-kind does not produce          THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD-YHWH [that standard of behavior which HE REQUIRES from us because HE IS PURE LIGHT & HOLY]. 21 So get rid of ALL uncleanness & [e] ALL that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive THE WORD [of GOD-YHWH] which is implanted      [actually rooted in your heart=spirit, soul & will], which is able to save your souls. 22 But prove yourselves Doers of THE WORD [OF GOD-YHWH actively & continually OBEYING GOD-YHWH'S PRECEPTS],  not merely listeners [who hear THE HOLY WORD but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to THE REAL TRUTH]. 23 For if anyone only listens to THE WORD [f]without OBEYING IT, he\she is like a one who looks very carefully at one's natural face in a mirror; 24 for once one has looked at him\her self & gone away, one immediately forgets [g]what one looked like. 25 But one who looks carefully into THE PERFECT LAW, THE LAW OF LIBERTY, & FAITHFULLY ABIDES BY IT, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets BUT [h]      An Active Doer [WHO OBEYS], he\she will be Blessed & Favored BY GOD-YHWH in what he\she does [in his\her Life of Obedience]. 26 If anyone thinks him\her self to be religious [scrupulously observant of The Rituals of  his\her Faith], & does not control his\her tongue but deludes his\her own heart, this person’s Religion is worthless (futile, barren). 27 Pure & unblemished Religion [as it is expressed in outward acts] IN THE SIGHT OF OUR LORD GOD-YHWH & FATHER is this: to visit & look after The Fatherless & The Widows in their distress, & to keep oneself uncontaminated by The [Secular] World.
